Inspiration Through Art (formerly The Littlest Hero Project) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering people to give back, and make a difference through the beauty of art. The mission of Inspiration Through Art is to help provide and capture memories for families that are dealing with hectic schedules due to having a child who is suffering from a serious illness or life altering disability. ITA photographers understand that being given a diagnosis often throws your life onto a whole new and often scary path where things like getting photos taken is sometimes a huge challenge and is one of the last things that families are thinking about.
Having a child with special needs makes me all the more familiar with the blurb above. We so easily blow off getting family photos done but, if Leyla's health were to take a turn at any point, I know that we would regret not having photos done as often as possible. I am excited at the thought of being able to provide a family with this type of gift, to capture a part of their child's journey that now can last with them for ever!
